FightzyCookie policy
Fightzy has no advertising or analytics cookies. The site stores your own settings on your device so it works, and loads videos from Instagram, TikTok and YouTube (which set their own cookies) only if you allow it.
1. What we store on your device (essential – no consent needed)
We use your browser's local storage, not tracking cookies. These entries never leave your device:
| Name starts with | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
fightzy_ | Your app settings and progress: language, country, quiz answers, picked videos, ideas, media kit, connected-account stats, your cookie choice | Until you clear it |
fz_land, fz_land_done | Your answers on the waitlist quiz, so a refresh doesn't lose them | Until you clear it |
fz_ref | The partner code from a partner link, so the partner gets credit | 60 days |
2. Third-party content (only with your consent)
| Provider | When | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Instagram (Meta) | When you open an Instagram video in the app, after you click "Allow video embeds" | Plays the video; Instagram may set cookies and log the view. Instagram cookies |
| TikTok | When you open a TikTok video, after you allow embeds | Plays the video; TikTok may set cookies. TikTok cookies |
| YouTube (Google) | When you play a YouTube video, after you allow embeds | We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Google cookies |
| Google Sign-In / Facebook Login | Only when you click "Connect" for YouTube, Instagram or Facebook | Runs the official login; the provider may set its own cookies |
YouTube thumbnail images are loaded from Google's image servers (i.ytimg.com); they don't set cookies.
3. Change your choice
You can change your choice at any time. Without embeds, videos open on the original platform instead.
4. Fonts and hosting
Our fonts are served from our own website, so no font request goes to Google. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps short technical logs for security (see the privacy policy).
